Elder Pauline Mattis is the chair of Christian Education. The program for
children and youth is taught by a rotating team of teachers who work
together to develop a biblically-based program of instruction.

For the 2011-2012 school year, the Sunday School begins in the Sanctuary at
11:30AM and moves to Murchison Hall. All ages are taught together so that
the children can teach and learn from each other.

The theme for this year is "Heroes from the Bible"

Adult Education
The New Hempstead Presbyterian Church has two adult study groups. Both
meet weekly from September through June.

The Adult Bible Study is led by Ed Garcia and meets on Sunday mornings at
9:30 AM in the Colonial room. Anyone is welcome to join on any Sunday.

The Monday night discussion group is led by Pastor Lori
Knight-Whitehouse. The group either is studying a book of the bible in
depth, or is reading together a Christian non-fiction or fiction title. See the
pastor for more information. The group meets Mondays at 8 PM in the
Colonial room.
